What are we fighting for?

The writer was a first type of writer and he is very objective because he first analyses the rights of married couples, what is society’s expectation and couple’s expectations. When a same sex marriage occured, the ones who are lesbians or gays will able to introduce themselves to society and they will gain a position which other married couples obtain. To some extent i mean the average of society might think that there is not a tie between gay marriages and degeneration according to Wedgwood because he thinks that  as much as other marriages same sex marriages deserves  respect and the social status.Furthermore  society wont be effected by legistating same-sex marriages because the writer focuses on the view of giving the marriage right of the people who wants to have a same sex marriage.Thats why he says that  allowing them to marry means to include them in society.Thats a point here, having equal rights necesitates social acception. What i mean here is when gays are allowed to marry, they will have the same conditions as well as heterosexual couples.Against the idea of illegal commitment to homosexuals, they want to have same social and economic partnership. If same-sex marriage does not change the fundamental definition of marriage in terms of rights and benefits, society will not accept them to have children for the purposes of procreation.Same sex marital fights can occur more than heterosexuals have because they have much more pressure on them such as being received as a second citizenship.

Some nice points here. The only problem I had here was in understanding the second last sentence.
